Why do We Need Spelling-Check System?

No one can produce electronic text without an error. The most popular errors in such texts are typing ones – repeated words, omitted comma, period or space etc. Such errors are easy to make but difficult to discover. To minimize the number of errors and misprints in your text and reduce the time to correct them we propose the spelling-check program.

Basic Package provides spelling-check of documents in Russian language.

It helps to find and correct spelling mistakes, hyphens your documents perfectly, shows all word forms and its grammatical characteristics.

Basic Package provides hyphenation of 2 optional quality levels: Newspaper - a text formatted in narrow columns; Book for common text.

ORFO allows to add a new word with all its forms, after that given word will be recognized irrespectively to its grammatical form in all applications supported by ORFO. Basic Package includes its own editor designed to check and edit texts. It checks spelling by means of "hot keys" in applications provided with editable windows (NotePad, WordPad, ICQ etc.). ORFO 9.0 also supports up-to-date versions of popular browsers such as IE, Firefox and Opera.

BASIC PACKAGE provides quick and high quality spelling check.

As compared with Microsoft Office 2007 Russian spelling check module ORFO allows to add new words to a user dictionary in all their forms and helps to find and replace a word in any grammatical form.
Each copy of the Orfo software is intended for installing at one computer only.

About ORFO

Our multi-purpose system ORFO 9.0 is a unique Spelling checker for texts in Russian. ORFO includes a large set of linguistic modules necessary for text editing. The program incorporates itself in Microsoft Office and other popular applications. ORFO finds and corrects errors, hyphens words literately and correctly, helps to find and replace a word in any grammatical form. ORFO also checks grammar, syntax and style, makes autosummary of a document and selects keywords. Dictionaries of Russian Collection give extended explanations of Russian words (explanatory dictionaries) and their origin (etymological dictionary) as well as synonyms, antonyms and usage examples (dictionaries of synonyms, antonyms and paronyms). ORFO 9.0 has been designed specially for Office 2007 and Windows Vista. It also supports up-to-date versions of popular browsers such as IE, Firefox and Opera.
