The harpist Irina Donskaya has a unique performing manner indeed. She is continuing the Vera Dulova's school, tirelessly making the art of the harp known in Russia.

The harpist Irina Donskaya has a unique performing manner indeed. Being the assistant professor of the St.Petersburg Conservatoire, Honoured Art Worker of Russia, pupil of the distinguished harpist Tatiana Tower (1945–1994), thus continuing Vera Dulova's school, Irina Donskaya is tirelessly making the harp performing known in Russia.

Her first concerts began already during the years of education. Donskaya's repertoire embraces solo programmes, numerous concertos for harp and orchestra, compositions for harp entering diverse instrumental ensembles, so as arrangements.

Irina Donskaya performs music of different epochs — from the masterpieces by the anonymous authors referring to the 11th–13th centuries up to the pieces by the contemporary composers. The harpist cooperates with many renowned instrumentalists and vocalists, ballet companies and symphony orchestras. Among her pupils there are laureates of prestigious Russian and international competitions.
